wow that is too bad he sold it !!! great bus. once was owned by somebody just 2 streets from my old place.
love how he managed to repro the old Austrian license plates. look so right on the car.

Nice Bus, does anyone know if the huge jack bag is original?

Some of those other materials are not original - 55 shop manual is post-Barndoor, that little brochure is 55-57 so not Barndoor, etc.

I think Kieft & Klok have pieced together these knick-knacks in an attempt to make the whole package look a little sexier.
So none of it can be taken as always having been with this bus.

I don't recognise the suitcases as the ones Simon and Maria used for their weekend trips away anyway.

Thank you.

Either way, I like that huge jack/crank handle/tool bag.

I just realized that is not a Barndoor owner's manual either.
The manual pictured has 2 Buses on the cover so it must be post-Barndoor.
Barndoor manuals have a single Bus:

The final price of the barndoor deluxe looks like a screaming deal!
I wonder if something happened or if that is or not the correct info.

IN2VWS Sat Nov 29, 2014 6:45 pm

..........or if the seller still owns it.

henk Sun Nov 30, 2014 5:55 am

I read on another forum that it got sold after the auction for 220.000$.
Not sure if this is true or not.

Henk!!!

EverettB Sun Nov 30, 2014 9:06 am

Maybe the starting price and final bid price being the same means it did not sell at all?

Or the owner bid and no one else, as stated above.

the boss Sun Nov 30, 2014 3:02 pm

Ad 10 % to the final price......
It's writting on the auction condition
