Had the beetle up for opening day yesterday. The car drove fantastic and the turns were killer for November 9th!

Nice! We've had a few big storm system come through lately but the freezing level has been a bit higher than usual so most local mtns are delaying their opening days by at least a week. |

December 30, 2024, Mt. Ashland
My first real trip in the snow with the Bus, it did great! Spectacular day of skiing at Mt. Ashland, great snow and no ice or wind.
And my younger brother who road up with me. You can see my "winterization blanket" hung up there behind the driver and passenger seats.
With that in place, the Chinese diesel heater running full blast through the defrosters, and my little buddy propane heater running between the seat pillars,
we were reasonably warm all the way there.

Shredder P got some new sticks and he’s ready to rip! Opening day is right around the corner.
