I assume that they charged your card, have you tried calling or emailing them yet?

Used PayPal, hope that I'm covered.

Sent an email but no response. I'll start the complaint process tomorrow.

Not worried about the $$, but I really wanted one so that's sort of a disappointment.

Yeah for those who aren't aware there is a time limit on registering a PayPal complaint so it's always wise to launch a complaint as soon as you feel uneasy about a deal. You don't have to escalate the complaint until the time limit approaches and of course you can cancel the complaint if they come through.

If you still want one you could probably go to a sign shop or whatever and have them make you some. I've never been to a place like that so I don't know how it works, I was going to try and do the clock/ tach conversion.

PayPal will not back you up, even if the terms for the car were sent along with the payment. Ask me how I know this......

The loss would only be ten bucks or so, still . . .

I've dealt with delinquents before through PayPal and had good luck each time. If nothing gets resolved by the end of the week, I'll file a grievance and see how things go.
