My turn signals ain't flashing, just on solid when I indicate or pull the hazard switch. Dash light also comes on solid with both turns and hazards.
I pulled the relay off and the symptoms remained the same so am I right to think the relay is to blame?
Only replaced the relay 6 months ago too.

Start by reaching up under the dash and squeezing the black plastic part of the hazard switch with all the terminals sticking out back into the switch and securing it with a zip tie, then try a new relay if that doesn't work.

Thanks, I thought I might be the relay but was surprised it had broken already. Guess they really don't make em like the used to.
And the flasher emergency switch shouldn't be be issue as when I had this problem 6 months back I strapped it up with a zip tie.
Could be a fun game getting a new relay in Costa Rica but I'm sure I'll find it somewhere as I've met a few other vw'ers down here and have a couple of numbers for Vw mechanics.
