Does anyone still sell a kit to rebuild the original Hurst shifters? Thanks

EMPI makes a rebuild kit. They supply every part for a Hurst shifter except the trigger. They even test fit all the parts for you.

I know that's an old post but I don't think it's really true. The pivot ball on the knock-offs is smaller than the OG Hurst, though maybe you could move over the ball and the bushing plates together but I'm willing to be they are low quality as is the entire knock-off shifter.

Bruce sells a reinforcement plate that will actually fix most broken/cracked plastic plates (the main weak-point of these shifters).

A dude named Jeff (goes by glandnut) will restore them for you but I don't think he sells the parts or a kit to DIY anymore:

You could contact him to see if he sells parts for the shifters.

There was another guy selling kits and parts for a while but he dissapeared I think, at least I don't see his ads for kits up anymore.

Im the guy made and sold the hurst trigger shifter rebuild kit. I no longer sell the kits but do have some pieces left over if you need something specific - but no nylon blocks, sorry.

I think he means the empi shifter has all the parts you need.

Buy a Empi copy of hurst style shifter, for parts.
