Greetings,
The mounting studs on my 34pict -3 carb are too short with the alternator spacer added. It's no problem replacing one of the studs because the entire length of the stud is the same width. However, the other stud is wider at the top. IOW, the width of the stud that screws into the carb is 8 mm. But about 1/2 inch down the stud, the stud narrows and the rest of it is 6 mm. (I don't have the exact measurements. but you get the point.)
What can I do about finding a stud with different widths? I haven't found anything on any parts sites.

| Its called a, step stud. Check mcmaster carr and metric and multistandard and fastenal. Ray |
