He has three of his own barndoor's to decide if he is going to run fuchs on 😄

I have no idea what I'm going to run on here yet! Maybe borrow a spare set of OG earlies from Dave haha

Have had some more history of my bus!

After being pulled out of the yard by Dave and painted Red and Black etc, Dave then gave it away to a friend not long later, I think this may be to a bloke called Ken White. Ken sent some photos to Michael John Riley over here in the UK when he was trying to sell the bus in 2001.
Well Michael has sent me these photos and here they are..... Trippy!!

No I won't be returning it to this look hahaha

It's nice to get some history on the van like that - well done.

Cheers,

Dave

Had some more photos sent over from New Zealand....

A shot of it during the hastily done repairs....

During the "artwork" applying stage, just after being painted red and black.

And in use at the NZ nationals 2001

The "artwork" *cough cough* on the decklid

Also got a couple of photos of a RHD barndoor panel van that was also on the site....

Love finding out more and more about the bus :D

Haven't updated on here for a long time, but my bus is in final stages of welding now, so happy with how it's going! Hole in the roof is gone for a start :)

Front tubs are in...

And rears are going in now...

Really starting to get there. Fingers crossed for Hessisch

Great to see progress on this ex-kiwi bus, i saw your pics of the rear tubs on Instagram and wondered if it was this bus you were chopping up

Have you decided on a colour yet?

Keep up the great progress and pics.

Cheers Tedz

Bloody hell!!! Now you have said that it's suddenly dawned on me and the mrs that's what it all was, had to re look at the photos, and started recognising the bits and from what Studio Ghibli films they were from!! Haha! Just over looked it all as some stoned guys artwork before hahaha

Haha yes chopping this old thing about, why not eh?! :D

Yep colour was decided before I even bought it, and the original paint door that's on it now gives it away ;)

My passenger cab door was fucked on the skin and managed to get an OG paint door from a friend so removed the skin and attached it to my frame.
