Anyone had experience with these?

I will be replacing the fuel lines, filters, and pump this weekend and failed to order enough clamps from bus depot, so I would like to pick some of these up. I'm trying to avoid the crimping method as a whole, seeing that I don't have a pair of the crimping pliers, and seems pointless to buy a pair for a once every few year job. Would much rather install these type of clamps going forward. Has anyone else abandoned the crimping clamps as a whole? Are there any drawbacks of doing this? |

I use those from a different label, but the same part. Worked great on ~5 vans so far.

My Gowesty kit was short 3 of the fancy crimp-on ones and no one sells them in town so I have 3 of the NAPA ones on now. No problems, though they're not all-stainless. I think the bolts are regular steel but the band is stainless (maybe). Might want to check. Although with a little Never-seize they should be fine for 20 years anyhow and the all-stainless ones can be $$$. They will be perfectly fine for the application. Way better than your standard worm-screw.
The crimp-on ones are nice as they're all stainless and go on neat and quick, with a consistent clamping pressure every time. If I could find a local source for the clamps so I could use it more regularly I'd say it was worth is but I only seem to be able to find the double-ear type with no internal sleeve that I think would tear up hoses. This kinda makes it a one-time-use tool now. :(
Good ones:
The only ones I can get:

| I now see they're readily available on Amazon. Didn't help me when I was running around town trying to find them! I'll probably order some and replace the NAPA ones. You also need to get over the idea that these are one time use...it's not really a good idea to re-use the other clamps either unless nearly-new. |

I bought a package of these last year and used them on my injector rails. At 50 cents per clamp delivered it seems like a reasonable price.
