so yes im a little behind times and just saw this video which has a ‘new’ turbo design but its 11 years old.
If you havent seen this you have to watch the video ..

| I like the idea of the new Porsche hybrid. Fast spooling electric driven turbochargers off the high voltage traction battery complete with regenerative braking back to same battery when not required. |
