Any chance you could post directly to here or send me a PDF? Dropbox wants a CC to get on...
Thanks,

Really? That's not right... It should be free. I will pm you a different method when I get back to my laptop. Anyone else have that issue? |

Maybe so many people wanted it, now they are charging? Everett is out of town until Monday so I'll send him a different link as well to put it in the archives. It's too large for regular email and a Facebook group. |

For me, it pops up with a "create account" message, but at the bottom of the pop-up it has a "no thanks, continue to download" link, which prompts the download process.
Nice find. 8) |

Thanks Kamz. You don't even need a credit card to create an account (at least when I got mine). Dropbox doesn't mention anything to me about limited access or too much is being downloaded. |

Try again and either hit cancel or the escape key when the pop up shows up. You should be able to download it then. If not, let me know and I'll upload it to Google Drive and share from there. Maybe I'll even make a torrent?... |

Dropbox is doing that nowadays, you need an account on shared links.
BUT, if you change the URL to start with "dl" you are good to go! :)
So here you go:

Nice PDF! Thanks. |

Thanks for figuring out the access issues guys! What a great book! It shows the early AFC FI system instead of the Digijet, but we have the digijet pro training manual for that.
Thanks! |

IMHO EVERY vanagon should have this pro-training kept INSIDE the van at all travel times. Like the Bentley.
Maybe not for you if you are not mechanically apt. but for the innocent soon to be random mechanic turned vanagon repair technician
you can buy pretty colored and bound versions from Terry K in the classifieds here. or you can print and place in a report binder your own nearly free copy. care of those who will host these files for you.

83.5-85 1.9l WBX: http://www.vanagonauts.com/files/Digijet_FI.pdf
86-91 2.1l WBX: http://www.vanagonauts.com/files/Vanagon%20Digifant%20Fuel%20Injection%20System.pdf

There should be one for the 2.1, trouble is going to be finding it. Dealer techs in the 1980s would have one. The guy I got the 1.9 manual from doesn't have one though.
VW has been producing SSP (Self Study Programme) for a long time. Quick search found this, but in German... https://wimkoelman.wordpress.com/vertalingen/english/ and looks like all of them are here: http://www.volkspage.net/technik/ssp/index1_eng.php
I'll keep my eyes open for a 2.1 version. |
