Hello Friends,
My VW powered trike has a 1983 Honda CB750 front end. It has a 100-90-19 tire on it and that is about as large as it can go with the fender. It does great and just did a 3200 mile trip out west in all sorts of conditions.
I am planning on riding it to Panama, Central America this coming winter. The roads down there can be challenging, and there are a lot of gravel, rock and dirt roads in various condition from fair to horrible. I am looking for suggestions for a dual purpose front tire. Ideally it will do well on the highway, which will probably be about 75-80% of the ride, and still hold up well in the rocks. The trip is going to be approximately 9,000 miles, so a tire that will last that long is preferrable.

| I really can't tell you what tire would be best but I would make sure whatever I run size wise will be available in the areas I will be travelling. Probably not to easy to carry a spare? |
