Recently bought my first car :) of course it had to be a VW....
She's a one owner 1960 bug, pretty much stock, original motor, 91,000 miles and still has the plastic on the back seat :D
36hp motor...

it sounds like you got a killer deal (as long as the price was right). low mileage early beetle in good condition. nice looking car.

| That's sweet. I can't believe it the car is beautiful. never get rid of the car. i have four VDubs myself and I love all of them. My favorite though is the 63 Beetle my dad bought as a senior in high school in 63 and two weeks ago he gave it to me. It was the happiest day of my life. you will love that car forever. :lol: |

| Yep I plan on keeping her forever :D got her for $3000 AUD came with all the original manuals, interior is perfect original condition.... have spent a bit on her replacing worn parts and fixing surface rust, a tiny amount in pan from battery leak, didn't want it to get worse. I can't believe other people (who came to look at her when she was for sale) turned her down cause she's 6v...silly people... |

cool!! we have a growing vw family, my dad has a vw caravelle, my sister wants a pink beetle, & my girlfriend wants a white beetle when she passes her test
