New to the VW community. I've learned a lot over the past couple months but still having trouble...
I have 66 with a 1300, 009 dist and old Pict 28 square bowl carb. The problem is that is starts and idles fine, but hesitates and no power at low RPMs. This is what I done...
New points, adjusted valves and timing, plugs, cap and wires, clean gas tank, all new fuel lines and filter.
Anyone have any ideas? Carb or dist? Both? |

The square bowl carb is for a later engine and is probably jetted wrong for your engine.
Also, the 009 is known for a flat spot on acceleration. |
