View original topic: Flasher Relay for Euro 66 (No Emergency flasher)

I’ve got a “euro” 66, with no emergency flashers.

My signals had been working fine last week. Just this morning, my right signal would blink once, then nothing (no fast flash, no steady). Left signal works fine. I did drive in the rain a bunch on Friday, bulbs work OK.

Most stuff I’m reading about shows everything wired into the Emergency flasher. I’m pretty sure, I have two separate flasher relays (right and left). I haven’t dug into it yet, just got to work.

Still a 6V car. Should I just replace the right relay? Any help would be appreciated. Sorry if this has already been discussed someplace.

It "should" only have ONE flasher relay..

If you can confirm it does indeed have TWO.. and one side isn't working.. then yeah... replace the bad one ..

OR

Correct it back to ONE.

Check out this wiring. One relay for both turn signals, no 4-way flashers. 6V.
The other relay is for your headlight dimmer.

Ok. I'm a chuckle head. Yes I have the 2 terminal bosch relay. I went out
at lunch and cleaned off the connections, works great now.
Thanks

Good! Connections, especially ground connections, are the usual causes for probably 90% of electrical gremlins.
