SBD - they look a lot like vintage Ronal R9. There were a few manufacturers of similar looking wheels back in the 70's, but I think the Ronal R9s were the most available in the US? One of my favorite design wheels! Thanks for the info. I really like the look of them. Know of anybody making something like that in a 5 on 4.75" pattern?

I admire your skills! I built a Jamaican in 1968 on an Austin Healey 100-6 chassis.( A crime now...) Originally I was going to build a Caribee but the Fiberfab dealer "Autocraft N.W." showed me a picture of the Jamaican and I ended up getting the second one produced. I know they did not have a BMW in mind!!

Probably got to the point where he realized that it wasn't .. quite .. going to work out the way he hoped. It's extremely difficult to fit a VW kit car on anything other than a VW or a bespoke tube frame.
