I have a 2332 with some wedge port heads 44x37.5 and an fk43.i have 70 idles,155 mains and 200 airs.im getting a stumble just above idle.if I just barely give it some throttle it wants to stall until I give more gas.after 1,700 rpm its totally smooth all the way up.i tried to put in some 65 idles in and the stumble moved up just a little bit in the rpm range.i don't know if I need different emulsion tubes etc.....thanks

I'm running similiar and my jetting is 62/165/200 F2s and 40 vents. I'd suggest u ensure your jets are accurate from stamping. 155 are gtg for 37 vents.

Try going up on the idle air. See how it runs with the 70 and then the 65.

Jus put F2s and come up on your mains and with that combo I hope you running 40 or 42 vents

I drilled out some 70's to about 80 size.a tiny stumble right at the touch of the pedal but transitions perfectly all the way up...I gues I have to liuve with it..

Not to hijack the thread, but the original poster seem to have his question answered-

2017
Engle 120
1.25 rockers mild port and polish, 40x35.5 valves
48 IDAs w/37mm venturis
timing is 8 degrees initial, 30 degrees all in
195 airs
145 mains
F-11 tubes
65 idles
120 idle airs
Has a stumble/lean pop/hesitation right around 1400 rpm. Been up and down with the airs, mains, idles, and F-7 tubes, none of it seemed to make any difference. Adjust idle screws to highest rpm, then 1/4 turn more, and it pops out the top of the carb.
???????

I'd say start from scratch at 60/150/195. If you have the third progression drilled, u can go to a 55 idle. Id add 2 degrees more timing at idle and see. Recheck your linkage geometry for proper open/close.

At sea level, often a 110 idle air helps tune this out. I'd also go to a 150-155 main.

I concur, 55/150/200 would be my starting point.
