Of course there is plenty of room for a mid-mount engine/tranny now.

Still have plans for the Sterling, body is real solid and great Cd for electric projects.
Got a bargain on the Kelmark GT, has very solid Type 1 chassis, looking like I can keep the original floor pans. And came with a decent roll cage.
Got 2 legit VW VINs , seems easy to register in Florida, at least for now.
2 projects in a one project garage, will have to get creative.
TheSamba forum has been/is a great resource, Sterlingkitcars and KelmarkGT forums are essential, working on updating the build threads. |

Mark, thanks, got the tile in Niceville.
The person who helped had done a few VW kit regs for someone in Destin.
First Title has - 1974 VOLK - Primary Brand "REPLICA", and on the application for title - "Brands: FL-REPLICA"
Had existing CA tile and was transferred as completed kit.
The Kelmark Title has - Year 69, Make VOLK, Model Name 1131, still need to transfer, will let you know if any problems. |
