I bought some cheap foam crap a while back for like 12 bucks and they are going to continue to sit on a shelf collecting dust, because I'm not going to waste my time putting that crap on my car. Get quality! |

J bugs is absolute shit. The Brazilian stuff looks like a dog chewed on it. When I called to complain they said " what did you expect for $x. My door handle seals cracked and split before I even took it out of the garage. The taillight seals are dry rotted already. I reassembled the car last September. And has spent it's time in the garage since. The only part from them I would recommend is the fender bead. I will never buy from them again. They are the jc Whitney of vw parts. F j bugs. Spend more now or replace it again. The window seals from Wolfsburg west coast have held up great. When I replace the other crap I hope it holds up as well. |

On my car the Wolfburg West door seal are installed. I like it now cause there is no cold drafty breeze in the winter. |

Who are we kidding? We all know it's chinese shit with made in Germany labels. I for one will never buy anything from j bugs simply because of their attitude when I called to complain and sent emails to never get a response. J bugs should be on the seniority list as empi as far as 8m concerned. |

The German door seals are made by the OEM or VEWIB using the original molds.

Body rubber kits include parts from multiple manufacturers, because no single company makes every part. I consider VEWIB, Kaeferland, Airhead, West Coast Metric, and Wolfsburg West to be roughly equivalent manufacturers for rubber. VEWIB is a wholesaler, you have to ask Kaeferland which parts they make themselves, and Airhead's paper catalog names their own products more consistently than their website does. WW and WCM say which parts are their own manufacture. |
