I'm putting original used floors in my car. The floors didn't have the rear most section and the ones there are cut/rusted/beat. Does anyone make this piece? I'm looking for both left and right. Is the part the same for the later floors?
I was going to try and fix them but they're hammered. Thanks for any help! |

Talk to Mika Virtanen at http://restorationpanels.com/
or Steve Hook at Hooky's Panel Shop http://www.hookyspanelshop.com/
Steve has made new ends for those parts on my '46. |

Wolfsburg West has come generic ones. Maybe you could use pieces to rebuild yours?

On splits there is a framenumber on the lefthandside triangle. Not sure about zwitters/ovals though..? I'd say up to June -55? |

That is the wrong part. That is the rear cross member of the body. He needs the rear pan support. WW sells them but as far as I know they only sell them with their pans. They are not 100% accurate for a split. I think John Henry posted some info about them in his 51 standard restore thread. |

Is this what you need?
If so try here http://www.kdf.cz/web%20KDF_EN/kat82.htm item 405. |

That part looks pretty close. It doesn't have the part that is contoured to mate with the pan though so you would need to patch the two parts together..
This is the thread where John Henry was using the WW supports. They must sell them separately or he got them from someone who wasn't going to use them with their new pans. The part is close but not perfect.

Thanks for all the replies! I hadn't noticed any numbers on the left side, but I wasn't looking too closely for them either. That piece in the pic off the Czech site is close but those older ones were a different shape, I guess. They don't contour in at the tunnel either. I will try calling Wolfsburg West and see if they have any available like Johnshenry has. I was just reading his post there (a great resource for fixing an old chassis!). This is an early 53 chassis so it's basically the same. |

I got them from WW. They normally don't sell them separately but they made an exception. I grafted the chassis number from the old into one of the new ones. |

The number on the outrigger is the framenumber and is not the same as vin-number(=chassisnumber) |
