I have a steward Warner heater to place in my splitbus

It works very good and I want to put it in my bus.

The only piece That doesn't work is the fuel pump.

I tested the heater with an electric fuel pomp.

Does anyone know were i can find an original pump?

We are a bit scared to use an electric fuel pump because of the risk...
An electric fuel pump keeps pumping fuel an there is no return for the fuel That is 'to much'...

Or is it save to work with a fuel pump That stops pumping On a sertan pressure level?

Working with a pressure valve and so On Will leed me to 250€...
For That price i can buy a complete other one...

no one will answer, they want you to search. maybe ask about what color the gas heater originally came in and you will get 100 answers about that. good luck.

Failed fuel pump diaphragms is the way Stewart Warner heaters die (it's how mine died). Have never seen replacement parts. I suspect a suitable pressure electric pump is going to be the only fix (like all such pumps, they are designed to survive a no or low flow condition, so I'd wire it in parallel with the fuel solenoid, and let the solenoid do its thing controlling the fuel flow). Be sure to remove the diaphragm and rod from the original pump, so that the blower and ignition points can still work.

The thread below is from 2008 but travelvw was on TheSamba today. Maybe he knows who these days has the parts listed below. I did find a Rick Taylor at 6345 Ratner Rd, Berryton, KS 66409-9692 (785.862.1506) who appears to be the same Rick mentioned below.
