Hello,
Is there any easy way using standard tools to measure the caster of the BD bus?
The bus is wandering around at higher speeds and - as per my later bus with caster compensated narrowed beam which drives great and straight - I'm considering placing a caster shim between the top tube and chassis.
But before I do I want to confirm if caster would really be off.
thanks

A pair of turning angle plates and a decent quality camber gauge will set you back $500+ It's much simpler to take your BD to a competent garage with an alignment machine and have a caster sweep and full alignment printout performed. Here in my region of the US, barring any adjustments performed, about a $40-50 proposition. |
