| Hello, I am visiting Prague 29th Feb. I am looking for Type 3 parts (1970). Does anyone have recommendations for good VW shops or people to contact? |

| Cz never imported old vw.... there is just a man that buy in germany disassemble and sell parrs.... don t remember the name.... but he saved my and my beetle with an oil cooler and gasket.... just out of praha |

My parents and I toured Czechoslavakia (i.e. Czech Republic & Slovakia combined) behind the "Iron Curtain" during the summer of 1987, in our RHD 1973 VW 1600 Type 2 Westfalia Continental motor-caravan. I didn't see any other VWs whilst we were there and our VW attracted a lot of attention from the native population, which increased substantially as we travelled further east away from Prague, close to the border with Ukraine.
