You guys are great, the power of the Samba. Now to be patient a little longer I don't know what to do at this point. .

The non-stalker thing to do would be to hit the florida vw clubs and see if you can get an introduction.

if there are any local and or/club forums , try that as well.

But you have a ~licence plate, color, year and model, and probably a record of the vin# as well as pictures and video...

Given that information, there are folks that can that can look the address up.
May cost you a case of donuts...

You're still waiting for us to do all the looking, so I doubt we'll be that motivated to find it for you? Lots of VW Clubs in FL for YOU to contact about it.

I'm pretty sure $125 to a private investigator will allow him to buy the box of donuts needed to get the guys mailing address for last registration from LE.

You have a VIN, a plate#, and a locale.
Not many listers here from Florida I guess, so the rest is up you YOU.

looks like a gorgeous car. I looked at my pics from that show and I have a lot of type 3 pics but none of your car. I will pass this thread on to my FL peeps. Good luck!

This link shows that "Jessica Bellingar, won second in Type III & IV, All Years, Modified, with her 1963 Notchback Type III" at Bug Jam 2012 in Dade City, the same year as the YouTube video.

Good Luck, I hope this a lead....

I think Jessica had the pink notchback convertible.

Mr. Unpopular Wed May 04, 2016 2:50 pm

Correct, Jessica had the pink notch vert. She was a member of our group.

We are a group of VW people based in Central Florida and have 1k members. I've never seen the car in question, so if it's in Florida, the owner doesn't drive it to any events.

Thank you for keeping this post alive. I'm not sitting on my hands, nor am I expecting someone to do the work for me. Although I am grateful for all the responses and encouragement From Members of the power of SAMBA. . I am hopeful Sinthia will turn up soon. Thank you all again. .

1oldkid1 Thu Jun 02, 2016 1:53 pm

I may resort to a finders fee to getting connected with Sinthia's care taker. I'm turning up zero's. .

So, cough up $200 for a private investigator.

Your or you're?

So you join the site a little less than 4 months ago, contribute nothing other than repeated pleas to have us find or help you find your car, and then, when people throw their hands up and urge you to do more, you "lose faith". What a drag! With any luck, someone took that late 80's/early 90's monstrosity and restored it to its original state!

1oldkid1 Mon Jul 04, 2016 5:00 am

I joined 7 yrs. ago I moved forgot my passwords to my old email had to re-register. Not a newby, and don't need your spell check because I don't claim to be a good speller. And unless you know how or what goes into my builds button it.

1oldkid1 Thu Jul 28, 2016 8:27 am

This is an open ended search if anyone ever comes across Synthia please send me a PM I would like to be reunited once again. Thank you. .
