Don't your ass have a job!!!!

That looks cool so far. When you lower the back on a split do you have to ditch the redux boxes?

NorCalWeekender Wed Mar 10, 2004 3:05 pm

Lookin' good, Nick...how's the Kombi doing?

Question 1: Not today

Question 2: Nope

Question 3: doing fine have not done much to it latley. Soon it will have some Kadrons on the 1600.

After having lucnh i said "fuck the bullshit" and just turned the rear for now, i might have to raise it a notch after it sets in. It seems to be level now but oh well...I went 4 notches this time. Im not to crasy about the "butterfly effect" on the rear of busses but il live with it until i ditch the redux boxes.

It looks cool as it sits. Those wheelwells don't look that bad when its low like that. I wish I could find a decent one up here. They are all rust buckets or half done resto's that come with 10 dozens boxes of shit.

you forgot the 58 kombi too.....

Taylor, the bed is level across but i havent rolled it yet. I jumped on the back and rocked the bus back and forth for the trans to "set in" i think when i drive 2 blocks the rear might drop another inch or so, then i will need to raise it a notch or two. trial and error with turning the rear i guess. Its not to bad only took me 30 minutes with a air ratchet and a sledge hammer.

NorCalWeekender Thu Mar 11, 2004 7:08 pm

Thirty mins?! Wow, I'm impressed. I need me a garage and air tools. ;)

30 mins just for the rear, the front is another story....yeah air tools are my new love. Its is money well spent.

Yustrn Thu Mar 11, 2004 8:55 pm

F that if the rear is too low, then just lower the front more, no bus can be TOO low.

All in due time my friend.....all in due time.

Ever hear the one about the father bull and son bull sitting on a hill?

father and son bull sitting on a hill looking down at some cows....

Son turns the the father and says...."Hey dad whatcha say we run down and fuck one of them cows"

Father looks at the son and says..."No son, lets walk down and fuck them all"

Vanhag Fri Mar 12, 2004 12:47 am

That story is the first advice given to me by a bad mortician. Still, I'm with the old bull.
Ditch the redux's, I'd like to say I've got that type 3 rear for you but there is till a foot of snow covering the car and I"ll be damned if I'm going to dig through all that snow for some hippy electrician.
