i have found the perfect tire that i want for my car to go mudden with. the only problem is that the tire is a 25x10x12 and i dont have any 12 inch rims for my car which is a wide five bolt pattern i was wondering if they make a rim that is a wide five and like 9.50 by 12. as long as the tire might fit i would want it. it is soppost to have bead lockers for the tire i want.
thanks

maybe ;try a company like Douglas wheel. They make the wide five pattern, and they make smaller dia wheels for different applications. I think that they will make special runs if you gots the $$$! |

Just curious as to what kind of brake setup you are going to use with such a small wheel. |

I have looked into this alittle myself and there are some quad runner wheels out there that have a 4x130mm bolt circle(vw). then all you would have to do would be to change over to 4 lug vw or just run adapters.

it is for a atv tire. i like the looks of the titan at489 tire. i was something for extreme mudden and only to be driven in the mud and soft terain. i wanted to use stock brakes. i didnt think to make sure that they would fit that way.
thanks

i dont want to convert to 4 lug or use adapters. i was also wondering if anyone would recomend any mudden tire that is really great and ahlfway cheap that is less than 29" tall for a 15" rim. i dont have the money for s.s. boggers or something like that. i want a tracktor style tread pattern or something. i would also prefer it be bias so it grips better. they will never see the road.
thanks

Have you looked into the 7.00x15 tire pretty aggressive tread and bias plyed. I found this on www.chirco.com . Hope this helps.

Why not just get a standard super swamper tire?I paid $220 including mount and balance for two 29" x 15"tires and have all kind of grip and traction. |

well a regular super swamper would not really work to good for me. i am planning on going through the nastyest stuff posible. 10 foot deep mud holes and going down to my creek and back. i need somehting that has the most traction posible an i dont need them ballanced or anyhting because i am going to be strickly in the mud. i want to be able to go down to my creek and back in the mud and it is about a 50 degree hill.
thanks

How about this- http://www.galaxytire.com/earth_contra_trench.shtml
If your vehicle never sees pavement, it's a great traction choice. |
