| '89 2.1 wasserboxer digifant.......I dont know why the new fuel pressure regulator doesn't hold system pressure after engine shutoff. Its definitely the regulator cause my original one holds pressure after shutoff. So I reinstalled my original regulator and it holds pressure after shutoff as it should. Anyone else have this issue with the new "afternarket" fuel pressure regulators out there? |

if your old one works,
why'd you change it?
OEM parts are, as you've found out more reliable (even with age) than new replacement parts..
those who work in the auto repair fields report very poor success rates out of the box on new (non-OEM) parts and even OEM at times. |
