You European guys are craftsmen for sure. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Grandpa Pete says Nice job !
When DID you start this ??? :D
has my build thread helped you any ?
It looks like you intend to use a type 1 upright motor .
What are you building this for ?
I wanted a camper that I could sleep in ; that's why I went with the type 3 flat engine and interior deck .
How are you going to match the bug gutters to the larger bus gutters ?
How are you matching the stamped lines in the roof ? bug/bus |

Looking good! I see that it looks like you are leaving the upright beetle engine. Will you be leaving it exposed or covering like the busses with the inside lid. |

I building inside lid covering like a barn type2 . Rear lid ( only one ) is coming to until down like a barn door , and bereft bumbers .
Someting this like , but one rear lid and bereft bumbers .

Great idea to bring the bus roof design forward . I'll probably end up filling in all the " groves " on the bug and bus top pieces ...
Great progress :) |
