Hello folks, by chance could anyone help me out with where the other end of this wire is supposed to connect? the other end looks like it had been soldered to something and then broke off, as i can see some solder still on the wire. this end as you can see in the picture connects to the steering column by where the coupler sits. any idea? thanks mates

oh nice man thanks for that! so if my steering wheel doesnt have a button for the horn then i probably dont even need this wire ey? |

as i recall , basicly its just trying to get past the rubber coupler to the other side of it n make contact . its for your horn . like to one of the nuts on the other side using the other steering coupler .
maybe not to the other side but to the other coupler ? you follow that . your just making an electrical contact to go over the rubber .

Well, you will want a functioning horn, especially if you are using drum brakes all around. :wink: Rigging up a momentary switch on/near the dash to activate the horn is easy enough to do and is the route most go if they don't want to troubleshoot the original horn circuit, which can be time consuming. Here is a write up on the horn circuit you might find helpful as you work through your project.
