Is there any issues with putting a rhino tranny case in a barndoor? are the ribs too tall to clear the tube trans supports? |

It will interfere with the lower trans hoop. You will need to clearance the case in that area. |

That's what I was afraid of.. guess I'll stick to a normal tunnel case for the build. Thanks Trev |

I had a rhino case that was sitting around and finally needed a trans rebuild so I had it all swapped into the rhino case and Just before selling my 53 I put it in there. I don't recall ever messing with anything to fit it in. Pretty certain it fit as normal. |

Any non split case gearbox will need clearancing to fit in a pre 53 bus. The tube that goes under the gearbox is flat on a pre 53 bus, on later buses it has a dip in the middle.
If I remember correctly, a rhino case only has extra ribbing on the top? |

The ribbing on the bottom side is taller than stock too.

Hey Scotty. Thanks for the help. Mine is a 52 as well. I'll probably just run a normal tunnel case. I'll be running a 1776. But at times I may stick my 2332 in it for fun. [/b] |
