Wow, great video!

How far could you drive the white Panel into the forest and how far did you have to haul some parts and tools from that Panel to the 1955 Bus?

I love that image of the 2 guys carrying the engine on their shoulders.

Hi Everett,
It was 500-600m far from where the white brand new T6 has stopped :)
the track was sloping and muddy !! not easy to carry all the stuffs by foot here, it was raining and the 4x4 failed to climb :)

:D Wow! Great find and rescue! This video just made my day, and we should all be so lucky. What are your plans now for the bus?

obus Fri Oct 14, 2016 8:45 am

great video! Way to save a bus from totally rotting out into earth. Good work!

Being so deep in the forest I wondered how you were going to get it out, then when you said you "had an idea", I thought, oh my God, they're going to drive it out!

And you did!

Amazing work and the cinematography was outstanding.

Cripes - made my eyes water! Superb find, effort, video, music - doesn't get any better. All congratulations to you, fellow bus lover.
