Recently acquired the Perry Peterson custom 63 beetle. Car on the cover of Oct 93 hot vw's. Hoping to find out as much of the cars history as I can. Oct 93 was the first hot vw's I ever had, and marks the beginning of my vw hobby. Any info would be greatly appreciated!!

A lot of the work was done here in the SF Bay Area. I worked on it a few times fitting the door glasses in it., those barely opening rest hinged doors were a pain.
I liked the rolled rockers but not sure if the rear end treatment, the guy was super cool, but had a ton of money into it. |
