That was a hot and stressful drive getting there, stuck in traffic for what felt like hours.

Hello Karmann Ghia Lowlight friends. Next year the Karmann Ghia will be 70 years old. There will most likely be a meeting, the date is currently planned for around July 12th or 13th, 2025. Furthermore, the meeting may be reduced to 70 vehicles for organizational reasons. My dream would be for as many Lowlights as possible to be there. I don't know the exact details yet, but no matter what happens, I'll be there (if possible). As soon as I have more information, I'll write it here. The location will probably be Osnabrück and hopefully also the casino at the park in Georgsmarienhütte. Greetings, Udo

And also interesting is (imo), the shifter is the straight one, beetle till 7´55, so probably the whole frame, tunnel, but the steering wheel which is easy to replace, is already the new version, normally starting later in 8´55.
(So we can say, that type of export steering wheel can be regarded as a "Ghia wheel)

Kind of late to the party here, but these photos were taken at Schloss Solitude, a little way outside of Stuttgart. IIRC Gute Fahrt is based there, so it makes sense.
