Hello all!

Taking this baby round the country it looks like!

1996 Passat B4 avant, 5 speed with a AFN swap and a VNT 17 turbo. Bilstien HD struts all around. Project car but getting around 40 mpg at 90-110mph for the last 3500 miles has been great...

Left Seattle Wednesday of last week, went south through Portland and saw Xevin, Jon fisher, and made it to LA California. From there ive spent New Year's Eve with Brian, Asaiab3, Emma and Sven, Cynthia, and Brian's Girlfriend. Woke up and took off to Ensenada Mexico, getting fish tacos, and seeing la bufabodra, taking a road less travelled and enjoying the Mexican sun.

From there came right back into the states, saw Gabbs, and then the next morning saw Aeromech. Thanks Gary for letting me wash my car!

Left Rialto California from grandpas place at 3 am today (wednesday) and passed through mesa AZ, saw Desertbusman, through to Prescott meeting borninabus on the way, and then to Prescott to see red fau vae. Passed out in the back of the car for a few hours and just now getting up to hit the road....and the real trip begins. Aiming for key west Florida just to find the warm weather. Had to avoid CO due to the snow storm :( but I'm moving on!

Nice! Gotta love the B4 TDI waggy. The only car that you you can't fill up & drive it until the next fill up without a couple of comfort breaks in between. Have you removed the filler neck vent valve? If not, you can get another 7 gallons in that beast if you do (as if 20 wasn't enough).

Yes and I can cram in 25 gallons. 950 mile range at 110! Hahaha

i had the pleasure of meeting stu yesterday at a tourist trap bar/restaurant north of phoenix yesterday where i encouraged him to start this thread.
