| Before I got the torque multipling tool, I would use my tow bar and hitch the car up to my 3/4 ton truck to prevent it from moving and then torque it down. The parking brake does inhibit the proper torque from being set. Having hollowed out a few sets of splines on rear drums, I know how important it is to get it tight. |
