Can someone explain how this works on a 1700 dual carb? it is connected to the choke in a daisy chain. The bus wont idle down and I hunted for all kinds of issues. What or how does this valve know the engine is warm enough to idle down? what is the trigger?

| All chokes and solenoids of all carbs are wired to the coil power terminal 15, and are active anytime the key is on. The choke bimetal springs are warmed by both their heaters and ambient temperature. The warmer they qet, the faster they open the chokes. |
