Hello all I am looking for a cap or complete 1957 brake fluid Reservoir. Does anyone know where I can get one aftermarket or OEM?? I would like to keep the same style but if a different years cap will fit I will go with it for now. I am upgrading my front brakes to a Disc set up anyone have a favorite kit or any info that would help me out before I spend all the $$$? Thanks for the help and if you have what I am looking for I am in California (Bay Area) so call or email. Thanks everbody! 925-382-7285 [email protected]

The resevoir is fairly simple to find since they came on bugs up to 60 and I see them for sale on this site in the classifieds. You can get the repro rubber cap from BFY, Kochs, Wolfsburg West and many other places for under $5.
If you are going to run disc brakes, you might run the dual resevoir that has 2 seperate chambers for the dual relief master cylinder that will come with the disk brake kit. My buddy just did this conversion on his 55 oval. He mounted the new style resevoir hidden out of sight on a special bracket he built that clamps to the beam. He kept his stock resevoir in the stock location just to keep everything looking stock but it is no longer being used.
As for the disks, I would check out CB Performance. I believe they are close to you. They make front and rear set ups with 4 lug, 5 lug porsche and wide 5 lug.
