I never like leaving negative feedback .
However I love The Samba and 99% of the people on it....
David agreed to buy an original Empi exhaust system from me. He asked me if I would hold it for a week until he had the money. I said I would if he could leave me a deposit. He said he doesn't use pay pal , and could give me a deposit through money order or however. To me it's a little bit of a hassle, and David seemed truly dedicated to make the deal happen.
Following are 2 emails out of 20 + between us .

usps money order 2 day priority with a tracking number

david never paid. I emailed a follow up to see if there was a payment in the mail, and no response from him.
2 morals to this story.
1-ALWAYS get a deposit / or paid.
2-Never trust any one who doesn't use CAPITAL LETTERS.

I've sold David a number of items a number of different times over the past 3-4 years and have even held stuff for him without a deposit for a few weeks and he's always came through.
It's possible more patience would have yielded a different result, but I am probably one of the most impatient sellers on the planet so you're not getting a lecture from me. |
