Bring that bus of yours -- we'll pretend not to notice the three-point star on the front. |

WTF is Col. Sanders doing in Portland without stopping by here?
Because he doesn't like you. Nobody likes you
I should? Maybe sooner - roll down through P-Land end of August on the long lonely trail down to San Diego from Seattle as part of the "Finally notchboy is leaving the PNW and going home" tour. 8)
If you dont come up Tram - I will stop by for a Tram burger, booze and place to crash A-Hole. |

Oh, I know. Still, if we can scare people away with pictures like that, maybe someday I can afford to move back to my hometown WITHOUT having to win the lottery. I mean, since most of it survived the Tubbs fire last year... |

So... when is this migration happening? I'm thinking a nice repeat of when you moved to Tex Ass and the party started in Seatlle, then Portland, then down here at the Giant watering hole before the Seattle/ Portland crowd headed back north and you headed south in your Notch after a quick and dirty Sunday AM tuneup. When was that... late '07? It was the first time I met Fisher in the flesh!
We have a lot more room now since the old duplex is now one big unit (RIP Monster- in- law) and plenty of room for Campmobiles everyplace, and, of course, the Motel Berlin will be open for business.
Someone needs to find Godsbug, Chory, and Ruckman and wake them up for this too. What about Jismsk8tr? Isn't he up your way?
Those were fun times for sure. |

They say "you can't go home again". I often wonder who "they" are. I figure it's probably three guys named Cletus, Homer, and Grover sitting around a coal stove in Cletus' General Store, Taxidermy, and Funeral Home somewhere in the hills o Kaintuck. |

Oh, I know. I have about zero plans to move back -- there's quite a few reasons I'm FROM there -- but having the option to do so with a decent standard of living if I chose to WITHOUT needing a six-digit annual household income would be nice. And it might even keep more people from moving up HERE and ruining it anymore than they already have... |

Oh, and for all the questions I can already hear coming...
TOOB (v): https://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=392135&highlight=toob
We did this so we could talk Bays like sane adults without 160 page threads about what the spare tire pressure should be.
Then, notchboy went bay and decided to join the unwashed masses... so here we are. I guess, at least in notchboy's case, "TOOB" is a transitional verb.
Please do not approach us or touch us... TIA. :P |
