Just discovered tonight that my early "red" generator the threads on the pulley end are cut / broken only about 3 threads. What I am wondering is if I could rob an armature from a later thin slot generator?

| Have a machinist fix the threads. Drill the shaft and thread it, then put in a piece of threaded rod. |
