Hi Guys, new here so don't beat me up too bad...I saw something while cruising around on here earlier but can't seem to locate it now, have tried google, pintrest and here...
I'm looking for a speaker mounting solution, what I saw earlier was a pod that went between the tops of the A-pillars along the ceiling, seemed like a great option for my new 79, I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction...
Thx,
Chris |

Between the A-pillars? Like the dashboard? |

Are you talking about an overhead A/C evaporator that goes between the B pillars?

Like Visor shelf?

You could go with a modern 2 way speaker in the original speaker hole in the middle of the dash.

Good luck

thx guys..
@busdaddy - similar concept but the section between the b pillars was between the a pillars, kinda like these -
https://www.quadratec.com/categories/jeep_audio_electronics/sound-bars
@Tcash - same position as the visor shelf but more like the jeep sound bar i have in the link above...i saw the dash mounting option while searching, a good option but if I can make the ceiling option work, I'd rather go that way... |

You could mount tweeters on the A piller.

I don't think I'd want a speaker that close to my ears. You'd lose the stereo effect. |

fueling was the first thing i looked at, injectors were done last year, and she has new lines and pump...she only had 66k on her...still runs very well...
there's a lot of work to do...but tunes are up there in the priority list... |

I run 6 1/2" rounds with shallow magnets in my doors. Looks clean and sounds good.
