Thanks you! I bumped it to the top of the new page. Hater’s, hate.

Our next adventure. Just passed our health inspection. Keeping the food trailer, too. The building and almost everything in town is from the late 1800’s.

Very cool indeed!
Your empanada's must be tasty. If I'm ever out your way, I'll have stop in for a taste.

Are those street curbs Granit? I trashed my Pontiac G8 alloys on one of those in NY back in 2015.

I’ll hook you up 67rustavenger. I don’t have any depth perception either

Congratulations NJ John!!

Thanks, guys.
No, their not granite. Just regular cement and actually all getting redone. Not sure when.

Today was our “soft opening”. Only did 4-8 and it was insane. Gotta get up prep and do it all over again tomorrow.

Wow, just finished 4 days of craziness,Thursday through Sunday. Everyone seems very happy that we’re open. We hardly worked the food trailer 4 days in a row. So, I’m not use to this volume. All good though.

Thats fantastic. You are representing the American dream. I don’t care what left or right says. The American dream is still alive. Keep kicking ass NJ John.

Thanks, I’ve actually seen Ringo perform that song.

I keep referring back to this thread to check your progress. Sounds like your killing it!

A little over a year ago I picked up a dilapidated, vintage hot dog cart. It's a project, but I hope to get it reassembled in the near future. It would be quite a departure from what I currently do, but I can see the potential in using it at some of the Summer events we have locally, plus, it looks like it would be a lot of fun. More fun than swinging hammers at Porsches anyhow.

Thanks for updating and sharing your success.

It looks like a money maker to me. Do it daily. Find a great spot that’s legal, and open shop. In Jersey, hot dog carts and trucks are popular and kill it just selling dirty water dogs. Not so much here in Maryland, people want sausage sandwiches.

My girlfriend at the time wanted to sell locally made sausage, (we have a local sausage place that will make things to your spec) on pretzel rolls. She has a friend who's a pretzel baker. Maybe some little packs of potato salad... I thought she had some good ideas. I could see a Bavarian theme with the Split tugging the doggie cart around.

I went to our local Balloon Festival this year and people were 100 deep waiting in line for pretty much anything. It seems like you could make some good cash at festivals and local events.

At big events, everyone makes money. Sometimes people just go to the shortest line. It only hurts your pride in the beginning. Lol
You just have to check with the health department on what your allowed to do. Most states still require a three compartment and hand wash sink on a cart. You can make all that stuff. There’s a site selling the tiny sinks. I can explain if you need to do it. I made all my stuff.

Right on. I’ll check back when I get some time to get it back together. Thanks!

Saw this one at a local event in Langley BC last summer. There was a line up all day and evening so I think they must have done fairly well.

Sadly, you have to sign in to see the pic.

Can you copy and paste it here?

How's the restaurant doing?
