Looks like at least the muffler is done on my 88 with 2.1L.
Need a new muffler. Are the seals on both in and out of the muffler the same?
What’s recommended? |

Perhaps I lack imagination - but I bought the muffler and cat from Rock Auto. Cheap and suitable - appears to be well made though it has only been a few years now. Brand was probably Walker.
I think I got the gaskets and nuts (and that 2-into-1 pipe) from one of the usual VW suppliers. |
