Could have missed it but I don't see a thread for BBB 2018... Who's going and who wants to caravan?

For the early birds, gates open for camping sometime Thursday morning (11th).

If rain isn't forecast, we're leaving Costa Mesa on 10 Jan, 6am-ish... at 55-60mph. Jus' cruisin' - no hurry - make a few stops, etc. We'll be camping in the splitty in the queue Wed night.

If that speed works for you, it would be cool to cruise with other buses or hook up along the way.

Saturday January 13, 2018
-Bike Ride to Skate Park - Departs 9:30 am from Showmobile
-Registration & Raffle Ticket Sales Open 9:00 am
-Extra Event Pins For Sale 12:00 pm at Registration
-Kids Activities - Coloring Contest 11:00 am at Showmobile
-Kids Raffle 12:00 pm at Showmobile
-Corn Hole Tournament - Sign Ups - 9:00 am at Showmobile-16 Teams Max- Tournament 1:00 pm at Showmobile

-We have space to accommodate over 500 Vehicles.
-Parking is First Come First Served Basis!

NON VW’S
Campers, Motor Homes, Trailers, Non-VW Vans, etc. will park in the DESIGNATED RV Parking Area.

Sadly, I won't be at BBB this year due to some (hopefully temporary) health issues. Everybody have fun for me. I am sending some copies of my book "On the Bus" for LBB to include in the raffle giveaway, so some small part of me will be there, at least.

The BBB organizers announced there were 560 registered VW buses at the event this year. And there were over 40 more sitting out in the parking lot. So it appears over 600 buses were at BBB for 2018! It was an outstanding gathering, with great entertainment, fantastic bus people, and even a beer here and there...
