KTE 2018, the 25th KTE, was a great show.
50 Things were displayed; an outstanding turnout for an East Coast show.
Jake was there with his 1944 Kubel, as was Larry from The Thing Shop. I enjoyed spending some time with each of them.
The weather was cooperative; just a few light sprinkles which cleared up nicely for our scenic drive to the Saturday night KTE Banquet, as well as the Sunday drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
On a personal note, my drive from Detroit to (and from) Flat Rock, NC was uneventful and pleasant.
So KTE 2018 was a great success.

I will make one suggestion Jeff:
If you decide to make the trip, wear long pants!
I was bitten by so many mosquitos, my legs are still lumpy and bumpy after more than two weeks!
Those North Carolina bugs are something special :shock: |
