Hey Aylmer Quebec, thats where I bought my Doka back in '02 !!
We rented a Lupo in Germany, seemed a bit gutless.
HAHAHA, White one with windsurfing stickers ? If so, 2 blocks away from my house. I was in Vermont last weekend with my Ute . Great people there! If youve seen a grey one around vermont with quebec plates , I built that one too!
The Ute !

Finally got it home! 42.2 mpg at 70 mph on the way here. Not too shabby!

I spotted one of these a couple years ago in Denmark. I posted these photos on another thread back then, :

Nice mileage.
Green interior too?
I'd be interested in seeing pics of the interior - seats and dash or anything you think is interesting |

As you can see it is unfortunately an automatic and gas. We would have much preferred a diesel with a standard. Oh well! Maybe next time.
There is one cigarette burn on the driver's seat and the door upholstery is a bit soiled. I love the size of the doors and the interior room in the front. More room and easier access for us tall guys than any of the Jettas we have owned.
The rear seat is cramped for an adult but perfect for grandchildren. With it folded down there is ample room for the wife's mail bags and the automatic will be convenient for the stop and go part of the job.

Cool, the way the back seat folds down reminds of a Squareback. |

It's a VW thing I think. My Rabbit and Jettas all did that too. |

Crap, maybe my 80s/90s GTIs did too, now I can't remember.
I remember it had a lot of rear trunk space, more than you would think. |

I tried out the back seat tonight and to my surprise at 6" 1" I actually fit! There is a lot more room back there than I thought. On a long haul it could get a bit iffy but I would not hesitate to take on a couple hours back there!
Now, here is another nice surprise - the wheel bolt pattern is the same as the Rabbits and the early Jettas! Now I have a whole selection of wheels and tires to choose from!
This is what it came with. Not a VW rim I think as it has two different bolt patterns.
My brother gave me these. I think they were on a VW Fox.
These ones are Pirellis.
These from a '92 Jetta.
I bought this set for our Daihatsu 4X4.
And I have a set of aluminum turbine style rims too. They have a red background just now that would clash horribly with a green car!
Plus various stock steel rims from Rabbits, Jettas and even from an Audi fox that are complete with Audi hubcaps. |

Yes I hear they are very common in Europe. In South America they call them something different but we saw lots of them there too. |

Our '04 wagon and sedan both did, I have not checked the '02 sedan we have now. The seat bottom flips up and forward, you pull off the head rests and the seat back lays forward making a large flat cargo space. |
