Hi
I recently saved an 80 westy from the crusher. It needs work here and there, but, it'll get there.
One immediate problem is the push rod from the accelerator pedal, where it meets the pedal lever ( not the pedal, but under the body where the throttle cable connects). The push rod will not stay in. Its almost as if the hole is slightly too large.
Is the a cir clip or anything that is suppose to hold the push rod into the lever?

it seems like the push rod is missing some metal. anyone have a pic of similar framing of the correct situation? |
