Hi, I was thinking that a carrera style cooling system should be very cool for our engines.
Does anybody build and sell a kit that can suit type 1 and type 4 engines?
Cheers from Spain

Do you mean one like what was used on the 4 Cam engine?

I would not use this until it proves itself.
It doesn't take long to cook an engine, |

I believe a Speedster Owners.com member has one in his car. It is very cool and everything (and not to put down what the people who developed it have done because, again, I think it's very cool!), but there are no flaps/thermostat for quick warm-up for a regularly driven a street car, you need to mount an oil cooler somewhere (not a big deal, I know) and the price is a little out of reach of most enthusiasts. |
