Anyone know which engine compartment seal to use for a 66 beetle that had been modified to accept a 1600 dual port engine? Is it determined by the body year or the engine type?
Any help appreciated. |

| Body year. 1200 40 HP thru 1600 DP have same engine tin to body profile, till the FI system came out in the later 1970s. |

| I think you can use either. I am using the later seal on my 65 with a 1600dp engine. |
