Let's talk pre-63 Sunroof models...Volkswagen did em right
No GHASTLY contrasting colours - sunroofs were tastefully & subtly matched to the body colour

This thread is for:
1] Period colour photographs showing original coded sunroofs
2] Pictures of survivor cars with their original coded sunroof still in situ
3] Shots of NOS coded covers

It'd be nice to state

Saw this one in a FB group, first Ghia to the US, but alongside a color-coded square window bug so I don’t understand how that timing works other than if the 56 Ghia was back at a dealership a couple years after purchased?? Cool color matched roof tho!!
