Was contacted yesterday to help cleaning out a very old workshop from the father of an ex neighbour.
Found a complete august 1950 barndoor engine , including exhaust, carb, airfilter,... Allso the gearbox , but the reduction boxes where cut off. And a complete dash. All from the same bus. They cut here up in the 70's and used her as a chicken den, but these parts where all stored dry in a wood workshop.

the engine nr is 20-0229591, looks like it's one of the oldest ones out there if the barndoor.dk register is correct. |

What a cool find!
And so early too. I’ve only found/got bug parts from the 70’s  |

If you see something that's not correct for a 1950 barndoor engine, let me know. Airfilter and coil where probably replaced during its life.
The engine is NOT for sale btw. |

got the original hand crank or how do you call it.
All the tinn is very straight and the engine"s case is allso very sound.
The internals are probably good to, it still has good oil on it and no sludge when we removed the rocker covers. |
